Speed dating with SAFE researchers

SAFE researchers offer talks on investment behavior, artificial intelligence in the financial industry, and fintech at Leibniz Association's “Book a Scientist” event

On behalf of the Leibniz Institute for Financial Research SAFE, three researchers are taking questions from the public at the next round of the Leibniz Association's “Book a Scientist” event format. On 10 November 2021, experts from various academic disciplines will offer 25-minute online one-on-one interviews as a kind of speed dating with science. Interested parties will have the opportunity to ask questions on a total of around 130 topics.

Andreas Hackethal, Jan Wedigo Radermacher, and Andrej Gill are taking part in “Book a Scientist” on behalf of SAFE in the area of “Business, Work & Technology”. The SAFE researchers will talk about financial decisions in the digital age, the influence of mobile devices on investment behavior, modern forms of securities investment for retirement provision, digitalization and the use of artificial intelligence in the financial industry, as well as the impact of new financial technologies, so-called fintech, on households’ financial decisions.

A complete overview and more information about the topics offered and times at “Book a Scientist” on 10 November 2021 can be found here (in German).
