SAFE participates again in "Book a Scientist" format of the Leibniz Association

SAFE researchers answer consumer questions on artificial intelligence in companies and the financial sector, fintechs, and investments

The Leibniz Institute for Financial Research SAFE will be represented by four researchers when the Leibniz Association's "Book a Scientist" format enters its second round on 10 November 2020. Organized as a kind of speed-dating with the scientific community, "Book a Scientist" will feature experts from various academic disciplines for 25-minute online one-on-one conversations. Interested parties will thus have the opportunity to address questions on more than 70 topics.

For SAFE Charline Uhr, Kevin Bauer, Jan Wedigo Radermacher, and Andrej Gill answer questions during the second round of "Book a Scientist" this year about costly mistakes in investment decisions by private capital, the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in corporate business processes, digitization and AI in the financial sector, and how new financial technologies (fintechs) affect financial decisions for the households. SAFE scientist Charline Uhr already participated in the first round in August 2020.

In order to book meetings with the SAFE representatives and other researchers from institutes of the Leibniz Association, please send an e-mail to veranstaltungenwhatever@leibniz-gemeinschaft.de, stating your name, the chosen topic, and the desired time slot. A complete overview and further information about the topics and time slots at "Book a Scientist" on 10 November can be found here (in German language only).
