Program outline and confirmed speakers (pdf)

Join leading voices from European and national institutions, industry, academia, and journalism for a high-level policy event on the current challenges and future of anti-money laundering (AML) and countering of the financing of terrorism (CFT) in Europe.

Taking place on 31 October 2025 in Frankfurt, the event will examine the setup of the new European AML Authority (AMLA), the transformative impact of digitalisation on AML, and the geopolitical stakes shaping enforcement across the EU and beyond.

Featuring three expert panels and a keynote address, the event, co-organised by SAFE and FBF, offers a unique platform for policymakers, practitioners, and academia to engage, exchange cross-sector perspectives and contribute to shaping a more effective and resilient AML framework - one of the EU's most ambitious financial regulatory reforms.

The attendance is free of charge upon registration. The program will be posted soon.

If you are interested in training on this topic, you can register for the Anti-Money Laundering Academy (29–30 October | Frankfurt).
