Making Maps in R

This 75-minute seminar will teach participants how to create maps and how to work with spatial data in R. They will learn how to use spatial data, its most common types, and how it differs from non-spatial data. Furthermore, participants will get an overview of different types of maps and, depending on the context, will learn which maps are appropriate to create and use.
We will have an additional 15 minutes for Q&A at the end. The workshop is suitable for beginners with no previous programming experience.
