This seminar series examines the intersection of two transformative forces reshaping corporate finance and financial markets: the exponential growth of private credit markets and the accelerating adoption of artificial intelligence and automation technologies. We explore the rise of non-bank lenders, direct lending funds, and private debt instruments and, concurrently, we analyze how AI-driven automation is transforming production functions, labor demand, skill composition, and the nature of firm boundaries. The evidence covered bridges corporate finance, financial intermediation, labor economics, and the emerging literature on technology and inequality.

Please note that registration for the course is required. The course is free of charge.
