The Leibniz Institute for Financial Research SAFE mourns the loss of Horst Entorf

Professor of Econometrics died unexpectedly at the age of 64

"With Horst Entorf, we have not only lost a great academic, but also a close colleague and friend. The news of his death took us all completely by surprise. Since the beginning of SAFE, Horst has built up the SAFE Data Center with great personal commitment and has done pioneering work there. For many years, with his reflective manner, he constructively accompanied and advanced the work of our research institute in the Scientific Board. We will miss his vote there, we will not forget Horst".

Jan Pieter Krahnen, Scientific Director of the Leibniz Institute for Financial Research SAFE
