SAFE Women’s Network founded

SAFE Gender Equality Concept, comprises all women employed with SAFE or contributing to SAFE research projects. As the network’s coordinator was elected Prof. Nicola Fuchs-Schündeln (photo) who has been responsible for all gender equality measures since the beginning of the application process for SAFE.

Fuchs-Schündeln explained to those present the special measures SAFE is offering to promote gender equality and to support families – partly together with the Goethe Graduate Academy and the Dual Career Service of Goethe University. Among these measures are part-time work and telework, childcare during conferences and support for newly hired employees who need childcare or who are looking for a job for their partner.
