SAFE Transparency Lab supports leading annual conference on accounting research

The 2013 Journal of Accounting Research conference will be held at Goethe University on May 17-18, 2013. The JAR conference is one of the premier research conferences in accounting and has been held annually at the University of Chicago since 1966.

One hundred and thirty leading scholars will come together for the 48th annual conference to discuss recent advances in accounting research in areas such as financial and managerial accounting, disclosure in markets, and corporate transparency. Funding for the conference is provided by the Accounting Research Center at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business as well as by the KPMG Foundation and SAFE.
 
Prior to the conference, SAFE is organizing a workshop for Ph.D. students from leading U.S. schools and Goethe University.
