Prof. Dr. Peter Gomber, Professor of e-Finance at Goethe University Frankfurt and co-chair of the E-Finance Lab, was re-elected into the exchange council of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (FWB) as investor representative for a further three-year term. The council consists of 18 members and is chaired by Dr. Lutz R. Raettig, Morgan Stanley. It is the highest controlling and supervisory body of the stock exchange. The management board requires its approval on all questions of fundamental significance. In particular, the exchange council is responsible for the appointment, dismissal and monitoring of the management board as well as for issuing the exchange regulations, the fee scale and the conditions for exchange transactions. Prof. Dr. Gomber has been a member of the council since 2011.
