Alperen Afşin Gözlügöl, Ph.D.
Alperen A. Gözlügöl is a postdoctoral researcher at the Law & Finance Cluster of the Leibniz Institute for Financial Research SAFE. He is also an affiliated researcher at the Center for Advanced Studies on the Foundations of Law and Finance and a lecturer at the Goethe University Frankfurt. Previously, he obtained his Ph.D. from University of Hamburg and his LL.M. from University of Cambridge.
His expertise includes law & finance, comparative corporate law & governance, financial regulation, and capital markets law. His research has been published in the leading academic journals such as Journal of Corporate Law Studies, European Business Organization Law Review and European Company and Financial Law Review. Among others, he currently researches on the role law and finance can play in accelerating the sustainability transition.
