The SAFE Research Data Center organizes a research data seminar on:
Coding Assistants in RStudio and Visual Studio Code

to be held on 14 October 2025, 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. CET, online via Zoom
This 75-minute-seminar will teach participants how to create and use coding assistants on their own computer. Participants will explore setup steps, model selection, and integration tips to run Large Language Models within Visual Studio Code and RStudio. To protect the user’s privacy, models can be run entirely offline.
We will have an additional 15 minutes for Q&A at the end. The workshop is suitable for beginners with no previous programming experience.
