Cryptocurrencies, Smart Contracts and Decentralized Finance

The event will be held online, it will consist of two parts with a small break in between.
The webinar will cover the main topics relating to cryptocurrencies.
In the first part we will offer a general introduction into cryptocurrencies. We will discuss how they work, what their main characteristics are, which problems they face and what potential solutions are.
In the second part we will talk about smart contracts. We will see how they are connected to cryptocurrencies, what main applications have been developed and in particular, what the current state of so-called Decentralised Finance is.
Join us to understand buzz words like blockchain, mining, proof of work, proof of stake, forks, NFTs etc.
