Lena Liebich is a Junior Researcher in the SAFE Household Finance department and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Economics at the Graduate School of Economics, Finance, and Management (GSEFM) at Goethe University. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Bonn in 2020.

Her research is situated at the intersection of Behavioral Economics and Finance, employing experimental methods both in the field and laboratory, along with machine learning techniques. One of her key areas of focus revolves around examining the ways in which individuals interact with Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the context of their financial and economic decision-making processes.
