Raimond Maurer, Professor of Investment, Portfolio Management and Pension Finance at Goethe University Frankfurt, and Loriana Pelizzon, SAFE Professor of Law and Finance, have been appointed academic members of the stakeholder groups of the European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority (EIOPA). Maurer is member of the Occupational Pensions Stakeholder Group and Pelizzon of the Insurance & Reinsurance Stakeholder Group. Overall, 176 candidates of 23 different nationalities applied for the memberships. Each Stakeholder Group consists of 30 individuals appointed for two and a half years.
