2013 Frankfurt-Mannheim-Macro Workshop
The goal of this workshop is to provide a forum for the discussion and the development of macro-oriented research projects by researchers at universities and research institutions in Frankfurt and Mannheim, and to stimulate the exchange between the two groups. The workshop targets a broad audience including advanced PhD students, junior and tenured faculty.
We invite theoretical, quantitative and empirical papers from the broad field of macroeconomics. The deadline for submissions is July 31, 2013. For submission, please send your paper (or an extended abstract) to email@example.com. Authors of submitted papers will be notified about acceptance by August 15, 2013. If you want to attend the workshop without presenting a paper we are inviting you to formally register by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org by August 31, 2013.
The format of the workshop will involve the presentation of six to eight papers with one discussant for each paper. We kindly ask all attendees to let us know whether they are willing to act as a discussant. The workshop lasts all day and will end with a joint dinner in the evening.
